Biography
Ms. VanWormer is originally from Lansing, MI and knew she wanted to go to college from a very young age. She participated in an early college program at Lansing Community College and earned a Bachelors of Social Work from Michigan State University before starting her professional career. After graduation, Ms. VanWormer served with MSU's College Advising Corps in Muskegon, MI advising high school students in college and career preparation. After her service with Americorps, she decided to come to Grand Rapids, MI. She is currently a full-time graduate student at GVSU in the Higher Education Administration Master's program.
