NIARA was designed to increase a sense of community and belonging, centering the experiences of those that identify as women of color (WOC). Our vision is to create opportunities for WOC to be seen and excel academically, socially, and culturally. This meeting will include discussions and activities surrounding self-care, centering yourself, and balancing school and overall personal wellness. Learn practical skills to implement in your daily rountine and lifestyle.
We welcome women of color no RSVP required. Plus ones/twos always welcomed. Light food and refreshments provided. We'd love for you to join us! Attendance counts towards Laker Connections engagement grant opportunities (INT 101 AND 201 APPROVED).
