GVSU students remember victims of 9/11

Members of Grand Valley State University’s Student Senate will remember victims of September 11, 2001, by putting up thousands of flags at the Allendale and Pew Grand Rapids campuses.

A small flag will be put in the courtyard of the DeVos Center in Grand Rapids for each person who died at the Pentagon and in Pennsylvania. A flag will also be put in the Arboretum on the Allendale Campus for each person who died in the Twin Towers.

Taps will be played at 8:45 a.m., Saturday, September 11, at the Arboretum on the Allendale Campus. The event is open to the public.
