GVSU season opener broadcast on WatchESPN

The Laker football team will take on the University of Indianapolis Greyhounds on Thursday, August 31 at 7 p.m. to kick off the 2017 football season. 

The No. 2 ranked Lakers finished the 2016 season with a record of 12-1, reaching the second round of the NCAA Division II football playoffs.

The Greyhounds finished 2016 with a 6-5 record.
