Tickets to GVSU Night at Comerica Park include special hat

Fans who want to attend "GVSU Night at Comerica Park" still have an opportunity to receive a limited edition co-branded Tigers/Grand Valley hat.

More than 1,500 tickets have been sold to the July 26 Tigers/Kansas City Royals game; the Tigers have extended the offer to the first 2,000 tickets sold.

"GVSU Night at Comerica Park" is a special opportunity for Grand Valley students, faculty and staff members, alumni, friends and family to join as a community and celebrate the university at a Tigers game. Also, the Tigers organization will donate $5 from each ticket purchased via www.gvsu.edu/tigers/ to the Grand Valley Scholarship Fund, a general fund dedicated to supporting students through scholarships. 

Fans can reserve a seat on buses for $15 per person. Buses will leave the Allendale Campus at 2 p.m., stop at the Pew Grand Rapids Campus, and will arrive in Detroit by 5:30 p.m., returning after the game. Space is filling fast, RSVP for a seat online at www.gvsu.edu/tigers/.

• Upper Grand Stand (Sections 338-343) $27
