The 2016 animated hit movie "Sing" will be shown on the video board at Lubbers Stadium on June 27, 7 p.m.
Admission is free to the public, and the first 1,000 fans will receive a GVSU fleece blanket, courtesy of PNC Bank.
Event details:
• Gates will open at 6 p.m.
• Guests can choose to sit on the field, west side or south side of the stadium.
• Concession stands will be open, but food and drinks are not allowed on the field.
• No alcohol permitted.
• Only blankets and pillows will be allowed on the field.
"Sing" was chosen following a two-week online voting contest. Matthew McConaughey, Reese Witherspoon and Seth McFarlane are among the stars whose voices are featured in the film.
