Jordyn Timmerman (Perialas), Social Studies '16
My name is Jordyn Timmerman (Perialas) and I teach 7th grade social studies in Surprise AZ a Phoenix suburb. I’ve had this position for 5 years and love it! My social studies degree from GVSU has helped tremendously as I have had to help revamp the entire social studies curriculum for my school. The experience I got at GVSU has put me ahead of many other teachers in my same position. I am on the brink of creating another new curriculum and find myself going back to things I’ve learned during my social studies classes to help.
