First Year Advising Hold
All students currently in their first year are required to meet with a professional academic advisor before registering for the following academic year.
This meeting must be with a professional academic advisor for a student's intended major. Students are not required to meet with an Honors College advisor.
Registration opens in late March, so we encourage students to meet with their advisor before then to have their advising hold lifted. The hold does not go into effect until after the Winter semester begins.
Contact information for each advising center can be found on the university-wide academic advising website.
