Our summer management internship is a full time, paid position. We are offering a flexible start date. As a level two management intern, you will be trained in all front of the house positions at Palette Bistro, City Park Grill, or Jax Northside. In addition, you will complete our Managing the Guest Experience training module. Upon completion of Managing the Guest Experience, you will be scheduled as a floor manager for the duration of the internship.

Throughout the summer you will learn the different aspects of the business that each of our management team is responsible for: scheduling, hiring, interviewing, ordering, costing, budgeting, marketing, events, and much more.

Wineguys Restaurant Group began in 1993 with the opening of Roast & Toast. Since, we’ve added City Park Grill (1997), Palette Bistro (2010), Wineguys Catering (2016), and Jax Northside (2023).

Compensation:

- $16.00/hour

- 40 hours/week, with opportunities for overtime

Summer Bonus: 

- up to an additional $1 hour worked upon completion of employment agreement

Meal Allowance:

- monthly food stipend of $500

- stipend can be used at Wineguys Restaurant Group locations

Housing, upon request:

- dorm style shared bedroom with shared bathroom

- short walk from work and downtown Petoskey

- $125/week, deducted from paycheck
