Responsibilities
What You’ll Be Doing
- Serve breakfast in VIP 9th Floor Lounge
- Organize and consolidate steps of service for maximum productivity
- Handle all transactions effectively and correctly (including cash, credit cards, house charges, gift cards and room charges)
- Build positive relationship with guests
- Find new ways to create exemplary guest experiences
- Take initiative and stay curious to create new efficiencies for the team
- Contribute to an energetic and positive work environment
- Good stewardship of organization time and resources
- Provide information about services available in the community, local attractions and events
- Understand what events are being held in the hotel utilizing multiple platforms
- Sell and upsell a variety of opportunities and products on the fly
- Perform other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management
- Ambassador for Radisson and GHG standards
- Responsible for continued training in product knowledge and service standards
- Essential responsibilities are to provide beverage and food to our guests, running food, explaining food and wine, while having the ability to organize and consolidate steps of service for maximum productivity

Qualifications
What You Need for this Position
- Previous food service experience preferred, not required
- Food Service Certification required: must follow training procedures with level of excellence
- Tips certification required: must follow tips training procedures when serving alcohol
- Advanced understanding of food and beverage products including wine and spirits knowledge
- Able to work weekends and Holidays; schedule based off of hotel needs
- Passionate and motivated about people and the industry
- Driven by purpose, mission, values, and has sense of integrity
- Able to work independently as well as closely with staff through strong communication and verbal skills
- Positivity and flexibility in an ever changing environment
- Able to be coached
- Organized, able to multitask and balance many projects at once
- Able to problem solve on the spot and make prompt but thoughtful decisions
- Able to stand for long periods of time, up to 8 hours or more
- Able to stoop and bend
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds from time to time
- Able to safely work with potentially dangerous chemicals and equipment
- Able to comply with safety and health code standards
