When gathering materials for your online or hybrid course you have many options in regards for hosting and embedding digital content in your courses. GVSU’s secure video hosting solution is called Panopto, which allows you to create, upload and store videos for students. This service is also integrated into Blackboard, allowing you to easily embed media for students. In addition, Panopto can be used create quick screen recordings with both audio and video for course orientations and even student assignment feedback.
Library Digital Resources
The library holds hundreds of thousands of electronic journal articles, books, videos, and more. Your liaison librarian can help you access and create a variety of online-friendly resources. We also can ship books to off-campus faculty and students, and digitize materials so you can add them to your electronic course reserves.
Content Creation at the Digital Studio
The digital studio within the IT department's eLearning group has a wide variety of services and resources that will allow you to create instructional content that can be embedded into your courses. These services range from digitizing analog content that you may be using in your face-to-face courses to helping you create custom, interactive learning objects and videos.
