Dr. Rui Niu-Cooper of Literacy, Educational Foundations, and Technology, and Dr. Courtney Karasinski of Communication Sciences & Disorders partnered with a community organization, the Learning Cafe, to provide summer camps to African Refugee children to prevent summer learning loss. Speech-language pathology graduate students worked with the children on writing and social use of language.
