The College of Liberal Arts and Sciences (CLAS) has introduced a new initiative with respect to diversity, equity, inclusion, access/accessibility, and belonging (DEI-AB) for the 2024-2025 academic year. As part of this initiative, each unit in CLAS will be required to develop its own DEI-AB professional development plan for faculty and staff. This initiative is aligned with the College''s and university's commitment to foster a culture of educational equity for student, staff, and faculty. It also is part of the College''s efforts to build a more inclusive and equitable community among CLAS faculty and staff. That is to say, it is part of the College''s goal of cultivating a positive workplace environment where everyone faculty and staff alike can truly thrive and belong.
