Welcome Dr. Didar Hossain

The School of Social Work is excited that Dr. Mohammed (Didar) Hossein joined our faculty in August after completing his Ph.D. at the University of Hawaii earlier this year. His research interests fall broadly in the areas of gerontology, productive aging, mental health, social and behavioral studies, health disparities, social determinants of health, drug overdose prevention, immigrants and refugee rights, criminal justice, social inequalities, policy analysis, human rights, international social work, climate change, and mixed-method research.
He is currently teaching SW 610 Social Welfare Policy and Services and SW 690 Social Research I.
