-No dogs or other pets are allowed at the SAP

-There is no wifi available at the SAP, so please plan accordingly

Equity and Sustainability: What's the Connection?

This introductory workshop will explore the deep connections between equity and sustainability. Social equity is related to the distribution of resources - clean and healthy waters, air, natural spaces, and more. Participants will discuss ways to center social equity within sustainable practices and will learn about opportunities to support this work.

Intro to Indoor Climbing

For GVSU students and staff who would like a more formal and private introduction to the equipment and techniques involved in indoor rock climbing.  in 90 minutes this hands-on, small-group workshop will transform participants from having no knowledge about climbing to being able to recognize the different styles of climbing, choose appropriate gear for it, plan an appropriate path, and understand the fundamentals of efficient movement.

This workshop will provide knowledge and insight into understanding the use and application of what a Land Acknowledgement really means. Topics covered will include Native American identity dynamics, tribal nation and tribal citizen sovereignty, understanding treaties between federal government and the tribal nations.

Join Laker Food Co. and the Wellness Information Team (WIT) for a series of EatWell events. Each month, we'll focus on one of the 8 dimensions of wellness. November's focus is Environmental wellness, featuring a plant-based Impossible brand takeover at Fresh (12pm) and The Dish (5:30pm).
