Am I eligible?
PARTICIPANT ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Students MUST also meet the criteria specified below:
- Participants should be enrolled in (or plan to enroll in) University Prep District High Schools (UPREP) University Prep Academy, University Prep Art & Design, and University Prep Science & Math in Detroit, Michigan;
- Be potential first-generation college student. This means that a participant will be the first generation in his/her family to earn a four-year college degree; and/or
- Meet the income guidelines set by the U.S. Department of Education.
Once accepted into the GVSU UBMS Program, students participate until their high school graduation.
