Greg serves a wide range of colleges and universities in searches for academic and administrative leaders. Since joining Isaacson, Miller in 2010, he has completed several university leadership searches, filling president, chancellor, provost, and a variety of dean roles. His work has included several dean searches for business schools, colleges of veterinary medicine, and schools of engineering.

Vijay Saraswat

Vijay has built expertise across a wide range of higher education searches since joining Isaacson, Miller (IM) in 2012. He has played a key role in IM’s STEM practice, solving complex leadership placements across a range of tier one, public and private research institutions nationwide, including landmark recruitments for the Founding Directors of the Institute for Quantitative Health Sciences and Engineering at Michigan State University and the Knight Campus for Accelerating Scientific Impact at the University of Oregon, among many others. He has worked across engineering, natural and physical sciences, and health sciences, in both academic leadership settings as well as in functional roles in the translational sciences, with a deep understanding of—and dedication to—the broad socioeconomic impact that research institutions can have on people and place. Other searches include center directors, chairs, deans of sciences and engineering, vice presidents for research, and campus and system presidents.

Damla Williams

Damla Williams

Damla joined Isaacson, Miller as an Associate in 2021. Since joining the firm, Damla has served a range of clients across higher education institutions, nonprofits, and foundations. Her primary practice focuses on science, technology and society; and conservation and the environment. Damla has worked on a variety of searches placing senior leaders at many of the new and emerging climate and environmental centers throughout academia and among key climate NGOs and foundations. Damla is driven by a profound commitment to aligning leadership with the pressing challenges of our time. Prior to joining the firm, Damla worked as an Executive Recruiting Consultant for the UGA Search Group, an internal executive search function for the University of Georgia. Working within the higher education sector, Damla completed a variety of searches for executive leaders across campus, including Associate Vice Presidents, Deans, Directors, and Department Heads.
