WHAT IS THE SUPER USER PROGRAM?

The Workday Super User Program is a group of approximately 130 individuals providing Workday support for different departments/units across the university. There is 1 Super User for every 50-100 faculty and staff members.

WHO ARE SUPER USERS?

Super Users are early adopters, testers, and advocates of the GVSU Workday system. Check out the Super User roster.

WHAT DO SUPER USERS DO?

Super Users play a critical role in supporting the university during the transition to Workday. They will likely spend about 4-8 hours per month (Oct. 2023 - Mar. 2024) on Super User activities:

• Represent their area for the Workday project
• Gain early access to the Workday training tenant/system
• Participate in a guided tour and pilot Workday training materials (Oct. 2023)
• Support instructors during Workday courses via Zoom and/or in-person (Nov. 2023 - Jan. 2024)
• Serve as a main point of contact for their areas regarding Workday questions
• Provide at-the-elbow support when Workday goes live (Jan. 2024)
