January Virtual PL: Research Your Issue

**This Professional Learning has been rescheduled from January 17th, and will now take place on Monday, January 29th at 4:30pm EST**

This virtual professional learning opportunity will focus on the 4th element of Place-based Stewardship Education: Research Your Issue. Eileen Boekestein, the Environmental Education Coordinator for the Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (EGLE), will be the key facilitator for this learning opportunity. Eileen and Groundswell staff will lead us in a discussion of project exploration through:

  • Groundswell Stewardship Initiative online tools
  • Interactive Environmental Justice mapping
  • EGLE Classroom Resources
  • Hypothetical project walkthroughs utilizing the aforementioned tools

This PL event is welcome to any educators interested in learning more about Groundswell, those who are actively working on their student projects already, or those looking to learn more about researching environmental issues!
