My favorite project I've worked on is one that I did in my computer science class. We coded a program that encrypts and decrypts plain-text. I loved this because I can relate it back to my major and see how text can change in a computer.

For Knowledge Discovery and Data Mining, I created a Quarto website using R to replicate an academic study analyzing the correlation between crime rates and dispensary retail sales in Colorado. Combining and cleaning the many data sets was no small feat!

Naomi Sang

I worked on a Geospatial Analysis of Health Facility Distribution project that made a prediction of health outcomes for a population based on the location of health facilities. Questions arose from the results giving me a chance to continue the project.
