Curriculum Anchor Components of the Toolkit:
- The Communities for Clean Water Lesson Series was funded wholly or in part through the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy's Nonpoint Source Program by the United States Environmental Protection Agency under assistance agreement C9975474-13 to Grand Valley State University for the Lower Grand River Educational Initiative project. The contents of the documents do not necessarily reflect the views and policies of the United States Environmental Protection Agency or the Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy, nor does the mention of trade names or commercial products constitute endorsement or recommendation for use. The videos and lessons plans for this series were created in partnership with WGVU and the Grand Valley State University Annis Water Resources Institute.
- The River Rewilding Series was made possible through a grant from the Wege Foundation through the Great Lakes Stewardship Initiative. The videos and lessons plans were created in partnership with WGVU, the Lower Grand River Organization of Watersheds, and Brenda Perry from Kent Innovation High.
- The Creating Meaningful Outdoor Experiences Unit was created in partnership with the Grand Rapids Public Museum. It was made possible through a grant from the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration Bay Watershed Education and Training (B-WET) program.
